Pizza at the corner where Clement Street starts

Rose Pizzeria opened in spring 2026 at 1 Clement, the first address on the street, where Clement meets Arguello and the Richmond's long restaurant corridor begins. It is a pizzeria in a neighbourhood whose reputation is built almost entirely on Chinese and Russian food.

Clement gets busy from Friday evening onward and the corner site has no real waiting area, so the pickup orders spill onto the pavement. Ordering ahead saves standing in the fog.

This was tasty even if it it lacked a bit of flavor! Hard to compete with the pizza around here (thinking Gioia and Pizzetta 211) but would definitely get again. I liked the semi-thin crust.

Pizzas are just okay. Not good not bad. There's nothing standing out about this place except that it's new in the neighborhood. The food is quite overpriced compared to the quality. The wait staff are not attentive. Ordered one thing and got the wrong item.

Excellent restaurant in Inner Richmond for a casual and lively meal. The pizza has a crisp crust with nice structure, with high quality tomatoes, cheese and minimal toppings. Had the Cheese and the Louie Louie (white sauce). Recommend the bright rancho gordo bean salad and the Big Green Salad with asparagus, mint, basil and pecorino. Nice selection of natural wines by the glass. Live in NYC and it was up there with the best!

Great, crispy pizza - the menu reminds me of Cheeseboard or Arizmendi. Casual atmosphere. Don’t sleep on the bean salad - so good!

I thought the pizza was just ok. The dough on the crust was denser and thicker than I was expecting (see photo). The flavor of the Old Faithful pizza toppings was good and the spicy Caesar salad was great. Had a good fun neighborhood pizza joint vibe, but the pizza crust dough was just whatever and didn’t seem worth the hype
