The cojimero is the reason people keep bringing it up: a curried milk chicken sandwich that outshines everything else on the menu at this small Cuban and Caribbean spot. It's tucked into a Lena Street corner better known for galleries than restaurants.

The room is closer to a neighborhood lunch counter than a sit-down restaurant, bright and small. It's closed Sundays and Mondays, and the kitchen tends to wind down by early evening, so go for lunch.
