Paddy Rawal built a following with Raaga before opening Tulsi in the space Mucho Gusto left behind on Paseo de Peralta. The menu skips a single-region lane, mixing Indian dishes with broader Asian flavors.

Most nights Rawal is out on the floor himself, checking tables and cracking jokes. Regulars bring that up almost as often as the food. Lunch and dinner run Monday through Friday, with shorter hours on Saturday.
