A robot glides between tables here, and it startles people more than anything on the menu does. Zeng's dining room is bigger than most in Santa Fe, and it's one of the only spots downtown doing a full Chinese menu instead of a fusion version of one.

The menu itself sprawls, closer to an American-Chinese buffet's range than a tight regional list. If you want the quicker version, a fast-casual spinoff called Zeng Express opened later on Cerrillos Road.
