Lucia Pasta Bar

Handmade pasta and draft negronis in the old Starland Dairy
Chef Kyle Jacovino's noodles are fatto a mano, and it shows. This is the pasta bar to know in Starland right now, tucked into the old Bull Street dairy building where the industrial bones are still visible under the renovation.
Order a draft negroni while you wait. The building carries traces of its dairy past, and it's part of a wave of 2025 openings that turned this stretch of Bull Street into the city's densest new-restaurant strip.

While visiting Savannah from Tampa, Florida, we had Lucia on our list to try out. when we arrived, I realized I accidentally booked the reservation for the following day and the host who was working at the front was able to accommodate us to be able to be seated the same night which we were so grateful for because we were just here for a short time and would not be able to come back the next day. We were seated and our server greeted us right away she was extremely delicate with her tone but informative on the menu. She helped us differentiate between the dishes to help us chose the best one. We ordered the Malfadine, margarita pizza & a Cesar salad. The salad came out so fast and omg it was a 10/10 must try. It tastes very unique from any other ceasar salad I've ever had. The pasta was also very unique & nothing weve ever had and we LOVED it. The pizza was incredible and the crust was perfect. I want to also mention the cooks were working super hard and were very professional. We had a great experience here & anyone visiting or just wanting to come for the first time definitely must try out Lucia.

Lucia Pasta Bar was a fantastic evening with great wine, great atmosphere, great service, and amazing food. Our waiter Patrick was able to help us with all of our questions and guide us on some selections from the menu. We opted to share a bottle of wine with the meal and it was phenomenal. We started with the Cherry Tomato Focaccia and Pei Mussels Siciliana dishes. The sauce was so good we found ourselves tearing off chunks of the pillowy soft focaccia and having it soak it up. It was a fantastic start! Then we ordered the Squid Ink Bucatini and Corn Agnolotti Del Plin pasta dishes. Both were absolutely fantastic. Then we finished with an Affogato and Cannoli. The espresso pull was very well balanced and worked perfectly with the scoop of gelato. The Cannoli filling and shell were perfect! This was our first visit to Lucia but we had heard quite a bit of hype about it. I can tell you confidently it absolutely surpassed our expectations even with all of the hype. We'll be back for sure!

Amazing experience! Our dishes were amazingly light and refreshing. Cannolis were equally as amazing and we couldn’t leave without trying the affogato with the cinnamon vanilla gelato! My one and ONLY compliant would be the pasta serving sizes. Most restaurants they give you too much, ya know? Everything is pre-portioned it seems (we sat at the pasta bar) which is great. It’s fresh and the same for everyone. Uniform. I love that but I really could have maybe had a few extra bites of pasta to feel satisfied with my main meal! All and all- very very good and we will be back! 2 recommendations for the menu- veal piccata and tiramisu!

We had to wait three weeks to get a seat at the pasta bar, but it was worth it. We had as starters the Margherita pizza and Octopus and potatoes, the We tried the pasta and their wood fried oven steak. Fabulous. We had a medley of desserts the chocolate hazelnut cannoli was the true star of the dessers. We will be back. The outside seating they had made me ponder if one could have a private party out back.

The food, atmosphere, and service are all great at Lucia. My bartender, Ashley, was genuinely fantastic and gave an endless stream of great service and recommendations to me and everyone else sitting at the bar around me. I had the Bolognese, a cannoli, and the mango sorbet. The only thing that I could nitpick is that I think the portion size for the pasta was a bit small. Other than that, if you’re looking for genuinely elevated, intentionally crafted Italian cuisine with great service, this is the spot.
