The CID karaoke institution returns after five years

Bush Garden shut in 2021 and its return kept slipping. In June 2026 it finally reopened on S King St, a new room but the same karaoke rooms and the same crowd that treated the old one as a second living room.

The drinks list got an update, including a tequila infused with shishito. Book a room for a group; the main bar fills up fast on weekends.

The grand reopening of Bush Garden was just yesterday and it was fabulous! Karen Akada-Sakata has done an amazing job of creating a true community spot filled w/wonderful people who care, lively fun & NEXT LEVEL food! Highly recommend!!

The Bush Garden is BACK!!! The food is fantastic. Service fantastic. Karaoke fantastic. Cocktails were delish (and I’m not usually a cocktail drinker!) Brand new build out at Uncle Bob’s Place is beautiful and reminds me of the old Bush Garden with tasteful new touches.

Love this place. The vibe is so awesome. You can stay here all night feeling right at home singing all night long even with perfect strangers.
