This is the sexiest spot in the area for a sultry relaxed vibe surrounded by beer halls. From the unique and proper crystal stemware, sophisticated tapas style mini bites for perfect pairings like my new favorite cheese platter with perfect selection of all cheeses and a sweet note with local sourced honey comb made the exact impression and need of where to take my friends from Espana and to start off the weekend for myself from a long week + the stellar caring and knowledgeable staff will be our new favorite haunt going forward!

We recently visited Spaces Available and had a fantastic experience. The space is beautiful, with elegant chandeliers, comfortable lounge seating, and a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The cocktails were expertly crafted and beautifully presented, and the charcuterie board paired perfectly with our drinks. We also loved that there was a large projector showing a soccer match, which added a fun and lively vibe without taking away from the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Whether you're looking for a date night spot, a place to unwind with friends, or somewhere to enjoy a game with great cocktails, this is definitely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

Although Spaces Available is still gaining its footing at the time of this review, it’s already evident that the project has a refinement and intentionality unique to Seattle. Case and point: one of the ownership’s stated goals is to bring a “New York sensibility” to the bar scene here. The proof of this purpose can be seen clearly in everything from the elegantly modern glassware, to the tastefully communal design, to the tight but thoughtfully curated wine and spirits list, all at very reasonable prices. Both food and cocktails represent a program that is, by all definitions, meaningfully craft. Which is to say, made with high-quality, fresh ingredients by people with experience. So often, now more than ever, it’s easy to spend craft cocktail or food money on portions that are small and unsatisfying, or drinks which look nice but which are unbalanced. Having tried four diverse dishes and drinks from here, I feel confident in saying that isn’t the case. To that end, what’s really valuable about Spaces Available isn’t that it’s just a good bargain, or a classy experience; rather, it’s that the earnest result of this effort is something distinctly Seattle, featuring local people, wines and multifaceted fare. If I were to pick one word to describe Spaces Available from a guest perspective, I would choose ‘Balance’. That is to say, everything here feels genuine in the sense that there was clearly a professional behind it, yet none of it is pretentious or overstated. The decor is subtle, the plates diverse, the cocktails mostly modern classics. Yet within that there are still expressions of personality in the quality of everything here. Even the seating, normally austere and isolating in upscale spaces, encourages conversation and community. Even if no other restaurant follows this example, the existence of Spaces Available speaks to a need felt here, and I believe our city and culture are richer for it.
