A Bitcoin bar with karaoke rooms and a podcast studio
Pubkey opened on 7th Street in Penn Quarter in January 2026, importing the New York original's Bitcoin bit wholesale. There are private karaoke rooms and a podcast studio in the back.
The kitchen is more grounded than the theme: smash burgers, Chicago dogs, wings, beef tallow fries. You do not need to hold any opinion about currency to eat here.

This was the best experience I’ve had watching a game at a bar. The crowd and atmosphere were unlike anything I’ve seen before, and the service was top notch. I would definitely come back and recommend PubKey to anyone looking for a great place to watch the World Cup games.

Cool place but staff made the night even better. A special shoutout to Griffin, who provided exceptional service from start to finish, very friendly and knowledgeable!

Hosted a vibe coding and sip event, and I would say this was by far the most welcoming venue I've been a part of. I enjoyed every aspect of it, from the service to Katie helping me out and making sure everything was good. I had a great time facilitating the event and making sure everybody had drinks and food as well. I will highly recommend coming here not only to have a good time but also to host any events that you may have in mind. In collaboration with PubKey, reach out to Katie. I honestly had a great time hosting my event here, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to host an event there. I'm dropping some images below so you guys can get a feel for the vibes at PubKey. PubKey, thank you so much, Katie, thank you so much, Tre, thank you so much for all your support during the event and after the event. Cheers!

This place knows how to pour a proper Guinness! Cheers to the staff. The place has plenty of space and a big projector for soccer games.

Went down to visit the bar that took over the old Hill Country BBQ space on a Tuesday after work… I agree with a recent review - it’s not the most welcoming from the outside, I feel like the entrance could be better. My husband enjoyed the burger and I enjoyed the waffle fries and their non-alc beverages. (I’d love to see a vegetarian option on the menu!) Around 7pm, the garage doors separating the bar area from the lounge area opened up and revealed the back area where there’s a stage and some couches. Would love to see some live music in this space!
