A $40 Geisha coffee flight in Buzzard Point
Unido brought Panamanian coffee to Buzzard Point in July 2026, including a $40 Geisha flight built around one of the most expensive beans grown anywhere.
Drip coffee is also on the board for people who would rather spend the money on lunch. A small market at the back sells cheese, charcuterie and chocolate.

The prices are high but you’re paying for convenience. I had a latte and that was good. Their breakfast sandwich was a miss to me. The egg and bacon were undercooked and lacked any flavor. Also I’m a resident of the building. There are different menu items that I’d be inclined to try however I won’t keep my hopes too high. If you’re open minded, in the area and have an extra money on hand to splurge give them a try a for yourself. Coffee plus the sandwich landed me about $23.

They have a sandwich called the breakfast sandwich. The best sandwich I have had in the US. Many thanks to Miranda

Food and drink were good, not sure if I went on an off day or something but there was only one employee working and she was the cashier, barista, and cook. Also no breakfast wrap is worth $19. This place has potential to capture a market with no competition right now in Buzzards Point, and the food/drink was legitimately good. That being said if the food is that expensive and the service is that slow (to be clear not the employees fault), then it is going to be hard to take off

This popular Panama coffee roastery's first location outside of Panama is in La Cosecha in Northeast D.C. Their newest D.C. location is in Buzzard Point, which is being taken over by new development and high-rise buildings. Cafe Unido is inside one of the newest. To access Cafe Unido go inside The Stacks' beautiful courtyard. You'll see an outdoor patio with tables and chairs that's part of Cafe Unido. Walk inside and kind staff will greet you and take your order. Going at 7 a.m. during the week, I ordered their breakfast sandwich and vanilla bean latte. Both were delicious! The breakfast sandwich comes with bason and is full of flavor and very filling. The latte is perfectly sweetened, balanced, and creamy. There are small tables with outlets at each inside the beautifully designed space or you can grab a table inside The Stacks lobby, where you'll find plants, murals, and restrooms.
