Ulivo opened on Sherman Avenue in March 2026 with a stated ambition to be a standby rather than a destination, and priced accordingly: nothing on the menu passes $30.
Burrata and calamari to start, spaghetti and ricotta cavatelli after. Mains are hanger steak or roasted trout with salmoriglio.

What a wonderful place to enjoy an evening! The staff was amazing—attentive, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to talk with. The intimate atmosphere and warm ambiance made the experience feel truly special. Every dish was beautifully plated, perfectly portioned, and prepared with real attention to flavor. Thank you to everyone at Ulivo for such a memorable dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to return!

Food was delicious, the manicotti and the goat cheese cheesecake were amazing! The staff were so friendly and attentive. Ulivo is a great night out and worth the trip!

Came here for dinner tonight. Was good though would love for them to have some sound insulation as it felt quite loud when busy. Overall happy to have a good neighborhood restaurant

A family owned off beaten-path Italian comforting restaurant - what else do you need. How family oriented and serviceable? Tim the owner would go around and ensure everyone is taken care of, and even made me a cocktail when the bartender was busy. All told, excellent service, cocktails, and meatballs (i have yet to full entree, but that is forthcoming)

Family dinner while on vacation from out of town the food was excellent and the service was friendly and prompt. I highly recommend this place. What a hidden little diamond
