Phở 10 Lý Quốc Sư: clear exterior shot of venue

Phở 10 Lý Quốc Sư

★ 4.1 · 12,007 reviews Hanoi Opened Opening date unknown

The phở most visitors are sent to, and rightly

A block from St Joseph's Cathedral sits the bowl everyone in Hanoi points tourists toward first. It's busy, quick, and consistent in a way the romantic hole-in-the-wall spots rarely manage.

The broth runs clean and the beef comes however you order it, rare, well-done, brisket, tendon. It holds a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, and branches have multiplied since, but this address is the original.

If you are visiting Hanoi Old Quarter, this place should be in your top choices to have a delicious meal. This restaurant is part of the Michelin Guide in Hanoi. The menu is simple, all the options available are Beef Pho with different type of meat: briskets, flank , well done, half done beef. We waited just 10 minutes to be seated and 10 more minutes to be served. The waited time was worth it. The flavor of the Pho is just perfect and is also an affordable meal.

After a long, exhausting trek from Hanoi to Sapa and conquering the Fansipan peak, all I wanted was something comforting to bring me back to life. Enter Phở 10 Lý Quốc Sư, ordered via GrabFood. Honestly, I was worried about the broth arriving lukewarm, but their packaging is next-level. They use these sturdy, heat-sealed pouches that kept the soup piping hot, just like how it’s served in-shop. It was the perfect "post-adventure" fuel: clean, refreshing, and just what my tired body needed to recharge. If you're in Hanoi and need a reliable, top-tier Pho fix without leaving your hotel, this is definitely the one.

I honestly thought this place was just another overhyped restaurant—but I was completely wrong. The pho here absolutely exceeded my expectations. The broth was incredibly rich and aromatic, the flavors were deep and well-balanced, and every ingredient came together perfectly. It’s easily one of the best bowls of pho I’ve had in Vietnam. Since it’s a Michelin-recognized restaurant, it’s no surprise that it gets very busy, especially during meal times. Expect long lines and a lively atmosphere, so it’s best to plan your visit accordingly. If you’re in Hanoi and want to experience exceptional pho, this place is definitely worth the wait.

Here is a casual, short review you can share: Totally worth the wait! We stopped by Pho 10 Ly Quoc Su around noon on a weekday, and even then, there was a queue with a wait time of over 15 minutes. But honestly? It was totally worth it. We ordered their special bowl (Phở Đặc Biệt) and it was absolutely awesome. The broth was incredibly flavorful and rich, the beef was perfectly tender, and the whole bowl just hit the spot.
