Street-food stalls, moved into a colonial courtyard

Quán Ăn Ngon took the format of a Vietnamese street-food market and put it inside a French villa courtyard: individual stalls around the edge, each cooking one dish the way its vendor would on a pavement, and tables in the middle.

It is unashamedly convenient, a way to eat bún chả, bánh xèo, nem and chè in one sitting without hunting across the city. Busy, loud, and better than its tourist-friendliness suggests.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Quán Ăn Ngon! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Vietnamese flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and perfect for experiencing local cuisine. A special thank you to our waitress - Anh Thu, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly throughout our visit. She was always happy to answer our questions, gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. Her excellent service made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Quán Ăn Ngon to anyone visiting Hanoi. We will definitely come back!

Great atmosphere, good food good service too. Since it was my first time trying some of the food, very thankful to have Thanh help us wrap the Ban Xeo and taught us how to eat other dishes. The Bun Cha Hanoi was really also really good. Definitely recommend and will come back

Food was amazing and service was great! As we first walked in you could see the fresh ingredients under a stand and there were many seating choices. Uniforms were very nice and the atmosphere felt professional yet friendly. The outside seats were absolutely stunning, the outside plants made it feel only more amazing. The food was so good and there was a wide variety of dishes, and the aroma was soft but it filled the rooms. The cleanliness was top tier as they would often come to gather trash and the floors and bathrooms were clean. Overall i had a great experience and i will come back bringing friends!

We really loved this place. The menu has all types of Vietnamese food and everything we ordered was excellent — Phở gà, Bò nướng Quán Ăn Ngon and the Bánh xèo tôm thịt. A great experience for our 2nd day in Hanoi. A special mention to « A Do » our server, he was so kind and showed us how to eat the crepe which is not easy when you’ve never had it before. We will definitely come back!

We ordered Bánh Xèo Tôm Thit because we a pair had asked for it and it was delicious: really tasty and different flavour to everything we've tried before in Hanoi. Overall we want to thank Nhun to patiently explain us how to eat it. To all foreigners: Remind that if you pay with card, VAT is not included and the price will be higher. Nice to meet you, Nhun!
