Charcoal-grilled beef the family has guarded for fifty years

The dish is bò nướng Lạc Cảnh: beef marinated in honey and more than ten spices, brought raw to your table and grilled over a clay pot of coals. The recipe stays a family secret, and the name is trademarked.

Lạc Cảnh is the oldest restaurant name in Nha Trang, one of thirteen beach kiosks before 1975 before it moved to Hàng Cá street and finally to 44 Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm in 2002. The room is plain and always full.

The meat is very nice marinated and staff is very friendly. The only problem is only the smoke of the grill so better bring your glasses or goggles .

This This restaurant has been in Nha Trang for many decades. I revisited this place about 10 years ago, and I am pleased to say that their signature dishes remain outstanding. I highly recommend trying the "Bo Nuong" beef cubes, which are tender and flavorful, the tiger prawns with salt and chili that are perfectly cooked, and the succulent squid prepared with a savory seasoning. This restaurant offers an authentic local experience that you shouldn't miss when visiting Nha Trang.

People said this is one of the most favorite Nha Trang local food Bo Lac Canh. For me it wasn't that tasty, friendly staffs, local style service and for the atmosphere be aware of the heavy smoke if all the people grill the meats at the same time, there's no smokeconsumers like the Korea BBQ.

It is local Vietnam BBQ restaurant. We ordered slice beef, Squid and Shrimp and pork skewer on sugar cane. You cook it yourself on the table. Food was very tasty and it was fun to grill food yourself at the table. It is reasonably priced. Only negative part is all the smoke generated.

Fun experience. Lots of smoke as it was charcoal grilled but it was part of the experience we didn’t mind. Food was 8/10. Service was typical cater for locals, fast and efficient.
