A whole pre-war village, rebuilt plank by plank

Four kilometers inland from the beach, Nha Trang Xưa is a compound of timber houses, ponds and rice paddies built to recreate a pre-war Khánh Hòa village. The buildings are genuine, moved here piece by piece and reassembled, and staff work in áo dài.

The food is a buffet of southern and central Vietnamese dishes. Domestic tour groups outnumber foreign visitors here, which says something about the cooking.
