The wine bar Caulfield North was missing
Balaclava Road had nothing like this before Ruzia's showed up. Broadsheet named it one of Melbourne's eleven best new bars, and locals fill the place from seven most nights.
The wine list is small and changes often, so just ask what's open that night. There's enough food to make a full evening of it, and Caulfield station is a ten-minute walk home after.

We had the best night at Ruzias celebrating my birthday in the private dining room. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Every single one of my friends absolutely loved it too. The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make the whole night feel so special. Everything ran so smoothly, and we were so well looked after from start to finish. I already can’t wait to come back… especially for the pickle martinis! Highly recommend!

Lovely little wine bar and gorgeous service from very accommodating staff. The back room was great for our small private party. And the platters were delicious.

Must go check out this gorgeous wine bar, the food is delicious with a fine dining but home-cooked feel, good mix of small plates and larger plates. Service was great, we'll 100% be back!!

Dinner at Ruzia’s was truly a wonderful experience. The plate was delicious, filled with the most delicious vursht, pickled vegetables, bread and cheese. That paired with a Zywiec beer nourished my soul! And the pierogi…. phenomenal! The waitress was so lovely and so was the atmosphere. 10/10

This has quickly become my favourite wine bar in Melbourne! The pierogi is to die for, and they have a fabulous wine selection (the riesling is my favourite). The owner and staff are beyond lovely, and the interior is gorgeous. There is a courtyard to sit in, a private room, the main room with a bar, and an outside area on the street. You must check out Ruzia’s!
