A café built for parents and non-parents alike, with a kids' zone that stays out of the way

Café Bloom opened on Nordbahnstraße on July 5, 2026, in Leopoldstadt, built by Tamar Morali-Tober and Ben Tober along with two additional partners. The idea grew directly out of their own experience as parents: the tension between needing childcare-friendly space and wanting somewhere that still feels like a proper café for adults.

The room splits into a play zone, itself divided for toddlers and older kids, and separate seating meant for people who just want a coffee, breakfast, or aperitivo in peace. The founders are explicit that it isn't a children's café. The menu runs bagels, filled breads, house-made sweets, fresh-pressed juice, and a full coffee list aimed at any generation that walks in.
