Malma Art Café
★ 5.0 · 25 reviews Vienna Opened February 2026
A coffee house doubling as an art studio in Margareten, with painting and craft workshops on the menu
Malma Art Café opened on Castelligasse in February 2026, built around a simple crossover: half coffee house, half art studio. Visitors can drop in to paint with watercolors or oils, fold origami, bind books, or work a linocut, with complimentary coffee and tea included in the workshop price.
Courses range from twelve euros for a beginner origami session up to forty-five euros for an open-ended 'all you can craft' slot, and the café also takes bookings for private groups and team-building sessions. Malma is open Thursday from 2 to 5:30pm, Friday to 8pm, and Saturday from 2:30 to 7pm.

A newly opened art café where, instead of food and drinks, you can order boxes of materials for small art projects. The owners are happy to advise and assist. Ideal for meeting friends. While chatting, you can get creative. Tea, coffee, and water are free.
