Drunken Yeti runs three floors of a distinctive building opposite My Mart in central Thimphu, named for the mythical Himalayan creature. The cocktail menu pushes past the gin-and-tonic default most Thimphu bars stick to.

It's closed Tuesdays, open late the rest of the week, and shows up at or near the top of most "best bars in Thimphu" roundups.

A well located cozy cocktail bar on the top floor of the building. Staff looked after well, the menu includes good variety and the service was prompt. Good atmosphere, locals seemed to frequent. Location made it easy to access. Work hours till about post midnight.

Had such a great time at Druken Yeti in Thimphu! Cozy ambience, amazing service, and some really good cocktails. The Yeti Special cocktail is an absolute must try. Perfect spot to unwind and have a great evening 🍸✨

Had a wonderful time at Drunken Yeti and honestly loved the overall vibe of the place. The ambiance is lively, stylish, and perfect for spending a fun evening with friends or simply relaxing after a long day. The music creates a great mood without being too overwhelming, and the entire setup feels modern and well maintained. The food and drinks were really enjoyable with good quality, rich flavors, and nice presentation. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and ensured the experience remained smooth and comfortable throughout the visit. What stood out the most was the energetic yet relaxed atmosphere that makes the place feel both exciting and comfortable at the same time. Everything from hospitality to ambiance felt thoughtfully managed. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy nightlife, music, and quality time in Bhutan.

An excellent bar with engaging bartenders, good selection of beers and spirits, and a mixed clientele of natives and tourists. It's a bit difficult to find the entrance, with a climb to the top floor, but has a great view and well worth the walk.
