Skip Ambient, skip Tower. Roundabout Café is the walk-in-distance spot off Norzin Lam that locals actually chose, a small independent place built around real coffee and simple food instead of a theme.

It's one of several cafes that have filled in Thimphu's side streets over the past couple of years, and this one's earned its regulars. No gimmicks, just a decent seat and a decent cup.
