Bhutan's first beer garden, open-air in Changzamtog

Most bars in Thimphu are indoor and upstairs. Urban Dumra flips that with an open-air layout, the first beer garden the country has seen, an idea owner Sonam Chophel brought back from Munich and reworked for a Thimphu crowd.

The craft-beer list is wide by Bhutanese standards, and the place stays open daily into the early hours.

Great Vibes, Great Brews! 🍻 The Urban Dumra is a fantastic spot to unwind with friends and enjoy a unique selection of locally brewed Bhutanese beers. If you’re someone who appreciates craft beer and a cozy, laid-back atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out. The ambiance is warm and inviting perfect for catching up over a cold pint or relaxing with a good cigar. While there’s already a lot to love, having a live band would take the experience to the next level and truly bring the place to life. Great place to hang out and drink beer. The ambience is great, while the price is little higher compared to other places, but it's worth it to visit and relax there.
