The founder went to Japan chasing better matcha and came back as the first international client of small family farms that still hand-pick their leaves. That's the whole point of Matcha Moto: ceremonial grade only, no watered-down blends.

The menu stays narrow on purpose while the rest of Sofia chases the matcha trend. In Oborishte, this is the place proving the specialty scene has moved past espresso.

If you don’t try these Mochi’s you are MISSING out. I am a huge Japan and Anime enthusiast and I have tried hundreds of mochis and nothing comes even close to these fresh mochi’s. I bought two boxes and ate all of them in the place hahah Honestly, I came back a second time on my second trip to Antibes. Absolutely amazing. Amazing stuff here

Very cute matcha place! They use high quality matcha and also your drink can be super customisable. They have all sorts of milks and add-ons. Highly recommend the Bulgarian rose matcha- not sweet at all- just perfect. The staff is also super cute and help you pick the best drink. Also have homemade cute sweets - I got strawberry blondie 💕 Not a lot of tables but for one -two people just perfect or on the go
