Gelato art from Corfu, now on Vitoshka

The pistachio here looks like it belongs in a frame before you wreck it with a spoon. Mona Lisa Experience plates gelato and chocolate like tiny paintings, and the limited summer flavors change often enough to justify a second visit.

It's a Corfu concept that spread to Athens before landing on Vitosha 35. Grab a cone and join the promenade shuffle, just expect it packed with tourists come July and August.

A special place in the heart of Sofia, where I was able to taste a Dutch stroopwafel, that tasted like the original. The hot chocolate was also the best I’ve tried in Bulgaria. The staff was polite and helpful, the location and atmosphere are great.

On my first visit, I tried the White Belgium Chocolate with Blueberry & Pistachio and Belgium Milk Chocolate duo — both were absolutely delicious. On my second visit, I chose a cone only. Having tried ice cream in many different places, I can confidently say this ice cream shop is truly excellent. They also had their own handmade chocolates, though I didn’t get the chance to try them. I must say, I still regret not tasting the other flavors. If I were to pass by again and could choose only one scoop, it would definitely be Chocolate with Blueberry & Pistachio. Warm regards

Stopped by Mona Lisa Gelateria in Sofia and it was a great little find. The staff were decent, polite and kept things moving. The gelato, though, was the real highlight. Creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet, amazing. The salted caramel had great depth, rich with dark caramel notes. The ricotta with freeze-dried blueberries was also excellent. Balanced, not gimmicky. Definitely worth a visit.
