Brunch sandwiches with truffle and foie gras ambitions

EGGoist treats the brunch sandwich like an author's format, not a filler dish. Black truffle, foie gras and Black Angus show up on a menu kept short enough that every plate holds its standard.

The coffee is specialty grade from Dabov, so the pairing question answers itself. It's central enough to be a default weekend meeting spot, small enough that you shouldn't roll up starving at noon without a plan.
