Amalfi-style pizza with an architecture award to match
The bacon and pistachio pizza and the pistachio burratina are the two dishes that keep coming up. Caruso's interior picked up local design press almost immediately, an open kitchen built to read more Amalfi Coast than Ensanche Naco.
It shares its plaza with Robata and Vuelve a la Vida, part of the capital's densest pizza block. Reservations are recommended on weekends.

Best pizza in town! We go there at least once a week and the quality is always excellent. The food is consistently great, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. A big plus is that they are pet-friendly and always treat my miniature poodle very well, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommended! 🍕🐶👏

Caruso has been on my list of places to check out in Santo Domingo since it opened and it did not disappoint. Our server provided excellent recommendations for pizzas and they were all phenomenal. We were a party of three and sharing two pizzas + appetizer + salad was sufficient for our group. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

Absolutely incredible experience! The Bolognese pizza was delicious... rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a thin, crispy crust. And the tiramisu… simply amazing! Light, creamy, and full of authentic Italian taste. This pizzeria truly captures the real Italian essence. Highly recommended!

Pizza was good, it was near closing time on a Wednesday, so the star wasn't the friendliest. But it's a good option for pizza.
