Crepes, waffles and jazz near Chipipe beach

Jazz plays over plates of crepes and waffles at this small, family-run café a short walk from Chipipe beach. The owners call themselves "una familia pequeña," and the place still runs like it, but the name travels further than almost any other café in Salinas.

The green, plant-filled dining room gets talked about as much as the food. Come for breakfast and stay a while, this isn't a grab-and-go stop on the way to the sand.
