Belharra

150 seats, thirty-plus Basque tapas, next to Notre-Dame market
Named after the giant wave off the Basque coast, Belharra runs a menu of over thirty Basque and Spanish tapas built for sharing, backed by a solid wine and cocktail list. The dining room and terrace seat around 150, right by the Notre-Dame market in central Versailles.
Most Basque spots around Paris squeeze into tiny rooms. This one doesn't, so big group bookings work without losing the point of tapas: small plates passed around the table. Basque cooking is rare in Versailles, which is probably why weekend tables go fast.
Good to know
- Weekend evenings book out. Go on a weekday if you want a table without waiting.
