Walk in, get a glass: no reservations at this rue des Deux Portes wine bar

No booking app, no waitlist text, just show up. Bonnie pours Tuesday to Sunday near the Notre-Dame market, and the only rule is you take a seat when one opens up.

That works for a quick lunchtime glass or a full evening parked at the bar. It's the opposite of the reservation-heavy wine bars around Versailles, and locals who'd rather not plan a drink in advance have already caught on. Last call lands around 11:30pm most nights.

Beautiful cheese (baked Camembert), chèvre in oil and thyme, salmon dip with bread. Two glasses of beautiful wine. Nice atmosphere tuck down the lame off the square.
