Spanish-style coffee on the walk up to the Castle

Coffi Boy opened on Várfok utca in May 2026, on the slope between Széll Kálmán tér and the Castle district. The bar works a Spanish coffee idea rather than a Nordic one, which in practice means shorter, sweeter drinks and a different roast profile.

The street carries a steady flow of people walking up to the Castle, and there has never been much on it worth stopping for. There is now.

It is a small hole in the wall type of place but the large circuler chocolate pastry was exellent (with blueberries it turns out) and the coffee was a++ which really suprised me.

Great coffee and match latte, knowledgeable barista (owner?). Tasty pastries, especially the cocoa roll (kakaos csiga). Absolutely recommended.

Super nice coffee shop, staff is super nice and even gave us lokal food recommendations (which also where amazing) 11/10 would recommend!! And oh try the chai!!!!!
