A walk-in cocktail bar in Parioli
Busso opened on October 25, 2025, in Parioli, a neighborhood known for formal dining rooms and reservations. There's no table service here. You walk in, order at the bar, and stand while you drink.
The kitchen sends out cicchetti as soon as they're ready, plated to order rather than pulled from a pre-made tray, so food and drinks land on the bar at roughly the same pace. The crowd runs younger than most spots nearby, and Busso joins a handful of cocktail bars that have opened in Parioli over the past year.
Good to know
- Order the whipped salt cod crostini.
- Expect to pay around 12 euros for a signature cocktail.
- Go before 7:00 PM if you want to secure a spot at the bar rail.

I went there yesterday for an aperitivo. The experience was decent, but definitely room for improvement. The chairs are quite uncomfortable, and the presence of several bees 🐝 didn't help us enjoy the experience. Also, the wind blew away two of the appetizers served. I'm still giving it three stars because the staff was very kind and helpful.

Since it opened, I've been coming here almost every Friday and Saturday. The DJ set they put on on weekends is fun, and the bartender makes excellent drinks. They recently opened for lunch, too; the food is top-notch. I recommend it.

A delightful spot for both a relaxing aperitif and a post-evening drink! The food and wine selection are truly interesting, and there's a wide selection of cocktails to suit all budgets. Definitely worth a try!
