Breakfasts, coffee, pastries, and desserts—the new city café "Teplo" lives up to its name. It opened in a prime location on Bukhar-Zhyrau Boulevard, a haven of traffic and a comfortable spot for a bite overlooking the green alley. Breakfasts are hearty and straightforward (try the one with halloumi cheese mousse). The appetizers offer surprises, like eel tartare with stracciatella and roti. A glass of wine (they pour generously, by the way) pairs with pasta. And with tea, try an almond croissant, chocolate cake, or sweet truffles. Incidentally, the chain already operates in Tashkent: Daniyar Nugumanov and his partners are responsible for the project there, as well as here.
