Wine and whiskey first, in Mandala's Street 6 complex

Elixir skips the kitchen and the beer taps. The list here is built around wine and whiskey, one of the few Blantyre bars that actually commits to that. Regular tasting nights back it up.

It closes Tuesdays and stays open to midnight the rest of the week. The after-work crowd fills in early evening, in a historic pocket of the city better known for colonial-era trading houses than nightlife.
