Seven-seat omakase built entirely around bluefin tuna
Sushi Misaki keeps it small on purpose: seven seats around a counter led by Chef Misaki, who spent more than thirty years at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Bangkok before opening here. Every course on the menu circles back to premium bluefin tuna.
The meal runs from otoro shabu shabu through to a final stretch of nigiri, all built around one fish.

I had an amazing experience at Sushi Misaki! From the moment I walked in, the place felt very homey. Everything felt very authentic and the taste of the sushi transported me back to Japan. The Toro just melts in your mouth and the rice has the perfect temperature. Because it was me and my boyfriends anniversary, we both got to choose an extra piece of sushi at the end of our meal, free of cost, which was super nice of them and made my day feel extra special. The people there were so nice and the girl serving us was really sweet. I would definitely love to come back one day!

Wonderful place to have a fully tuna-focused omakase dinner. The quality of all the dishes is great, and I like the explanation the chef gives about all the different parts of the tuna you’ll eat. Quite insightful. The service is great as well. I don’t think you’ll find many better places with this level of tuna in Amsterdam. However, the extra order of shrimp sushi was underwhelming with a sour aftertaste. Additionally, the overall ambience lacks something. Although the seats and dining area is nice, it feels kind of empty. Especially since there is a huge window on the right which makes the space feel too open and not very private. Moreover, the table next to the window where snacks are stalled out feels out of place. Overall great quality omakase, but there is room for improvement regarding the ambiance.

Had an extremely delightful dinner here with a friend a few days ago. I don't recall having experienced an omakase previously, and this entire afternoon was exquisite. From the presentation, explanations of what we were eating, service, friendliness, and of course the deliciousness/freshness/creativity of the food. Highly recommend, would love to visit again on my next visit to Amsterdam. Thank you!

It was our first time visiting Sushi Misaki and we were honestly blown away by the quality and the hospitality. My friend and I have been to several omakase restaurants in the Netherlands before, but this one is our absolute favorite. We experienced such warm and genuine Japanese hospitality, and the tuna was incredible, truly to die for. The chef and the host were both so lovely, and I would happily recommend this place to any tuna lover.

The perfect place to eat omakase sushi, in the Netherlands!! Very friendly the chefs and the fish is really freash, the Akami that is smoked is just perfect and otoro just melts like a piece of butter in hot bread. Perfect I will return again for sure! Thank you for the experience.
