Mediterranean small plates opposite the RAI
Toet sits on a corner plot on Europaplein, directly across from the RAI convention centre. The crowd mixes conference visitors, Zuidas diners and locals from the Rivierenbuurt. Few restaurants in the area pull from that wide a range.

Last Tuesday, we visited Toet for the second time. The first time was last May, and that was a real treat. So expectations were high, but this time it was perfect too! Our host from last time, Ruben, recognized us immediately. He served us so well the first time and sensed everything flawlessly. From his hospitality and humor to his wine recommendations! In fact, he even remembered what wine we had drunk last time! Impressed! The food was so good again! We had the langoustine and mackerel to start! The langoustine is highly recommended! After that, the Basque mussels; the sauce that goes with them is so delicious that we asked for extra bread! For the main course, we had the tenderloin, just like last time. Delicious! Thanks for another fantastic evening. We will be back soon!
