Direct trade coffee bar in the old bakery on the Visstraat

The beans here come straight from farmers Wakuli buys from itself, roasts itself, and will happily tell you about if you ask. Grab a bag to take home or just get the pour-over.

The shop took over the old Meneer Bakker bakery unit on the Visstraat, a few doors from Fortin, which makes this stretch what locals now call the Koffiestraat. Pick Wakuli if you actually care where the coffee came from.

On my way to the central station I had the privilege to buy a coconut-cappuccino and a chocolate chip cookie from the Willem-Pie vegan bakery for take away. It was most enjoyable and of unbeatable quality!

Had the Tiramisu Latte and WOW! Amazing ingredients, really good coffee. Love the atmosphere of the shop and the baristas, truly the best and warmest people 😍 Also the company revolves around ethical buying and fare wages for all people involved in the process of coffee production. Just awesome!
