The coffee bar that made Leeuwesteyn feel real

Leeuwesteyn is new enough that most of it still looks like a render, so a coffee bar with a view over the water counts as infrastructure. Komu is the younger sibling of Rocking Chair, sitting on the Statendaalder with a light room that catches the morning sun.

The coffee is good and the snacks are more interesting than they need to be. It shuts at half four, so treat it as a daytime habit rather than an evening one.

Excellent coffee, comfy laptop-friendly space, and a lovely canal view. Nice air conditioning as a bonus on hot days. Only downside: it closes at 4pm. My new go-to for a work session.

Nice place for a coffee. Usually try to work there. Sometimes its overrun by kids or small groups so it can be very noisy. Nice people though, and coffee is good!

GREAT MATCHA!!! very bright green, good quality and really good price as well! Free oat milk so thats really nice! i would really recommend :)

Absolutely great place for getting a very nice coffee and tea. Sweets are also recommended! Can be crowded and quite warm inside....

One of the best coffee spots in the area. It’s always busy, but I’ve never had trouble finding a place to sit and the atmosphere is lively. The only area that could use some improvement is the taste of cakes(I found them dry) Also, there’s a small children’s play area, which sometimes makes the café feel a bit like a kindergarten 😅 That said, it’s probably one of the reasons why it’s so popular with families.
