Bowls, shakes and sandwiches on the Lange Viestraat

Amsterdam kept this one to itself for years before a branch finally landed on the Lange Viestraat in summer 2025. Breakfast, bowls, sandwiches, juices and shakes, all built to leave you functional rather than horizontal.

It works as a takeaway as much as a sit-down, which suits a street people are mostly crossing rather than lingering on. The shakes are what regulars actually come back for.

Coolest spot an old church converted into a bar! Bar snacks were 10/10, drinks were strong and tasty, and the music was great!

I truly enjoy my visits ! The food quality, taste, and service were excellent — everything felt fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were friendly and attentive. One small suggestion: the portion size of some items, like the acai bowl, felt a bit on the smaller side for the price. A slightly more generous serving would make it feel even more satisfying. Adding to this review, today when I visited and ordered acai bowl the portion size became even smaller. I don't know if anyone is reviewing the comments. I paid 14.5 euros for that small of a portion is little bit disappointing.

I wish I could give a better rating just for the food, because it was really tasty! But honestly, we paid almost 20€ for this poke bowl without a drink, in what world does one poke bowl like this cost so much? The service was fine, very calm and was empty when we came in, but the price point was what broke it for me. If you’re okay with spending this much on just one plate, then this is great for you! Just not for me.

Ordered a avo chicken sandwich as well as a smoothie using my class pass app. Opted to have it as a sit down and then ended up ordering some coffee, a choc chip cookie and a ginger shot as well. The sandwich was really good, chicken was tasty and the sandwich quite large. The smoothie was also very refreshing. I enjoyed the flat white too. Some small service issues like no cutlery for the sandwich and no sugar and spoon with the coffee. I'd definitely give this eatery another try when looking for a lunch option or light meal.
