Sourdough bakery and coffee counter in Ondiep

The sourdough is the whole argument here. Loaves come out of an oven twelve doors down from the workshop where the baking classes happen, on the Samuel van Houtenstraat.

Grab a coffee to go with your bread. The shop shuts at three, so treat this as a morning errand, and get there early on Sunday since the shelves clear fastest that day.

Baked goods (at least the 3 things we had) are excellent! Coffee was ok, but there are many better options in the city. Interior/space is nice, we found seats easily on a weekday morning, it filled up very fast around lunch time. Service is friendly.

A wonderful bakery cafe. Fantastic bread. We may just recommend to separate the queuing lines for serving bakery/bread versus for people that are intending to stay longer for a coffee etc… that would help the customer experience for bread only lovers.

Hands down the best bakery in town. I loved LOAF as well, especially the fact that it was fully vegan, but Bakkerij Mischa pleasantly surprised me. I absolutely love that they always have new things to try. The chili cheese pastry is mind-blowing, and their flaky croissants are to die for. Also, their matcha latte is legit. Their staff is also super friendly! I really love this place!

Such different and authentic options for croissant. The one with orange & ricotta and the one with banana & karamel are insane. Also, croissantstengel is such a comfort thing. Amazed !!!!!

The pastries are delicious! You can get things here that you can’t normally find at other bakeries - which makes it a unique place. Their bread is also delicious - saying this as a German ;)
