Empordà's biggest ice cream shop lands on Plaça de Catalunya
Gelati Dino's new flagship is a different animal from its usual Costa Brava kiosks. At 150 square metres with a big terrace facing the square, it's built for sitting down, not just grabbing a cone and walking.
It's part of a fast expansion push toward 40 Spanish outlets by year's end, and it landed the same week as a new store in Cornellà's Splau mall. Rocambolesc is a five minute walk away, so Girona now has two ice cream addresses worth crossing town for.

Delicious ice cream! I got the mezzo (medium) size with the flavours Dutch cocoa which was perfectly rich and flavourful, and the yoghurt and forest fruits which was slightly tart, refreshing and had some delicious berries in it. The strawberry flavour was also very nice too. They have lots of other options like crepes, cookies, waffles, milkshakes, drinks and more. They have a good amount of seating inside with air conditioning and some seating outside too.

One of my favourite ice cream places. Excellent value for money, good choice to flavours that are rotated regularly, and fresh new branding. Coffee is surprisingly good as well.
