Six Senses Bangkok
Bangkok Opens 2028
Heatherwick's Six Senses rises on Silom's old Narai Hotel site
Mark 2028 down. Six Senses is building its first Bangkok hotel where the Narai Hotel stood since 1968, one of the city's original landmarks, and salvaging its timber for the new build. Heatherwick Studio is doing the architecture, BAR Studio the interiors, and Joyce Wang a 700-square-metre signature suite and restaurant.
Expect around 100 rooms, a Six Senses Spa, a sky garden and a rooftop pool, all anchoring Hatai, the new lantern-quarter district rising at 222 Silom Road. It's chasing both LEED Gold and WELL Gold.
Good to know
- Not open yet; the Narai Hotel site is being redeveloped into the Hatai quarter with the hotel due in 2028.
