Ritz-Carlton finally lands in Bangkok, 216 metres over Lumphini Park
The lobby sits on the 8th floor here, so you check in with a park view instead of a driveway. This is Ritz-Carlton's first Bangkok hotel, anchoring the new One Bangkok district across from Lumphini Park, in a 216-metre tower designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill with Thai firm A49.
Expect around 260 rooms, two pools, a five-room spa and the city's biggest ballroom, seating 1,200. The real draw is Duet by David Toutain, the French chef's first restaurant in Asia, set inside a glasshouse and Michelin-starred within a year. The hotel earned a Michelin Key too.
Good to know
- Ask for a park-facing room; the whole point of the location is the unbroken view over Lumphini.
- Duet by David Toutain, the glasshouse French restaurant, earned a Michelin star and books out well ahead.
- The lobby is on the 8th floor, so give yourself a minute to find the right lift bank in the One Bangkok maze.

Stayed (2025): Twin bed-park view Love: Breakfast at Lily’s (top 3 for me among similarly ranked hotels). Very well-equipped wellness/fitness/spa section—staying “in the hotel bubble” is such a treat. Work+meeting with a Lumphini Park view—lovely outlook. Welcome amenity: a bottle of red wine. Steam iron in the room. The ONE BKK mall is next door. Clean room and bedding. Okays: gotta walk past the entire reception area to reach the guest lifts. Small wardrobe and luggage area. Outdoor swimming pool—I prefer semi-outdoor to avoid rain/PM2.5. Room design and layout feel a bit average. Funny how they find the way to embed the hexagon into the design. I still like the guest rooms layout of Ritz Singapore better. Overall: may re-booking mainly to dine at Lily’s (lol). It’s pricier. Best for a short stay unless they offer a residential-room type. If you like working, living in the hotel bubble, and getting steps in at the mall nearby, Ritz could suit you.

We had a great stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok. From the start, everything felt smooth and very well taken care of. You can really tell it’s a high-end hotel. The design has a modern Art Deco feel — elegant but still very comfortable. The rooms are great, super clean, and the air conditioning works perfectly, which makes a big difference in Bangkok. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and enjoy the city without any hassle. One thing we really liked was how personal the service felt. The staff quickly learned our names and used them, which made everything feel more warm and genuine. The level of service is very consistent throughout the hotel. Breakfast was another highlight — great variety, high quality, and something we looked forward to every morning. Overall, it’s a hotel that gets everything right without overcomplicating things. Big thanks to the whole team for their kindness and attention during our stay. We would definitely come back.

Bangkok is home to many luxury hotels, but my stay at @theritzcarltonbangkok , a Michelin Key property, was one that truly stood out. • Located within the vibrant One Bangkok district and overlooking the greenery of Lumphini Park, the hotel offers a refreshing take on modern luxury. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was struck by the soaring ceilings, elegant marble finishes, and thoughtfully designed spaces that felt both sophisticated and welcoming. One detail I particularly loved was the impressive collection of art displayed throughout the property, adding character and personality to every corner. • Having Club Lounge access made the stay even more enjoyable, with breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and evening dining available throughout the day. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge between exploring the city. • The hotel is also home to some beautiful dining and drinking venues. @duetbydavidtoutain , recently recognised in the Michelin Guide 2026 and Tatler Thailand Best 20 Restaurants, was one of my birthday dinner experiences during this Bangkok trip and definitely deserves a dedicated post soon. For cocktails, @caleobkk is a great spot to unwind with its elegant atmosphere and well crafted drinks. • The facilities were equally impressive, from the stunning infinity pool overlooking the Bangkok skyline to the spacious gym and wellness area featuring a steam room, sauna, hot tub and experience showers. • What I appreciated most was how the hotel embraces modern luxury while maintaining the warm and genuine service that The Ritz Carlton is known for. • For my stay at @theritzcarltonbangkok , we checked into their Deluxe Room Lumpini Park View with Club Lounge access, which elevated the entire experience from the moment we arrived. • Instead of the main reception, we were escorted directly to the Club Lounge for a seamless check in experience, complete with a welcome drink while overlooking the Bangkok skyline. Upon entering the room, we were also greeted by a personalised welcome amenity, a lovely touch that made the stay feel even more special. • The first thing that stood out was how bright and airy the room felt. The soft beige and white palette paired beautifully with the floor to ceiling windows, filling the space with natural light and offering lovely views towards Lumpini Park. The room was thoughtfully designed, featuring a cosy lounge area with a sofa, dining table, and a well concealed coffee and tea station stocked with snacks and minibar amenities. • The marble bathroom was equally impressive, complete with a spacious double vanity, separate shower, Japanese-style toilet, and a freestanding bathtub that is essential for any luxury hotel stay in my opinion. Thoughtful touches such as the Dyson hairdryer and Diptyque amenities made the experience even more enjoyable. • A real highlight of the stay was the Club Lounge. In my opinion, this is what transforms a good stay at The Ritz Carlton Bangkok into a truly exceptional one. Designed with the same elegant marble aesthetic seen throughout the hotel, the lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating, with the best spots overlooking the lush greenery of Lumpini Park. • The lounge serves five meals daily, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, evening cocktails, and dinner. Unfortunately, with a packed itinerary, I only managed to enjoy the afternoon tea and evening cocktails during this visit. That said, it has already given me a reason to return. Next time, we would happily spend an entire day in the hotel simply enjoying everything the Club Lounge has to offer. • #RitzCarltonBangkok #RitzCarlton #RitzCarltonHotels #TLAsia

Had an outstandingly great vacation at The Ritz-Carlton, One Bangkok. From the welcome drinks, welcome package to the immaculate check-in/check-out experiences and not to mention the fanciful animal towel origami, it is most definitely a 5-star experience. Attention to details is what makes a hotel stand out and the staff at The Ritz-Carlton surpass all of that. Very appreciative to the bellboys, the guest services receptionists, the room attendants, the guest services operators, the servers and managers/supervisors of Lily’s (the hotel’s restaurant where we had our daily breakfast). It was truly a hotel experience which will etch in memory for a long time. The location of the hotel was near the Lumphini MRT (very accessible) and just beside two shopping malls - One Bangkok & The Parade. Highly recommended!

This hotel is hands down the BEST hotel in Bangkok. The rooms, the hospitality, the luxurious interior—literally everything is perfect. ✨ What truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived and were greeted at the car, to the front desk team, the restaurant staff, the Kids Club team, the pool attendants, and every staff member we met along the way—everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. A special thank you to KOKO, our room attendant, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more special. ✨ Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back! Mrs. Alharmoodi
