Thai and Italian cooking meeting halfway at Yard49
Pasta laced with Thai aromatics, Thai classics rebuilt with Italian technique: Benebene doesn't run two menus side by side, it fuses them. You'll find it on the second floor of Yard49, the small complex off Sukhumvit 49 between Phrom Phong and Thonglor.
It reads as a neighbourhood spot rather than a destination, the kind of place you stumble into once and then keep going back to.

The space is a bit compact with no separate area for big groups. Since we were just a small table, it got quite loud for us when a large party was there. However, the food was good, and what truly made the experience special was the staff. They were so lovely, friendly, and attentive. Excellent service!

The location and atmosphere are great. It is ideal place to hang out with friends. However, the food is not up to the expectation. I was expecting some fresh Thai-Italian fusion food but the food that we have ordered were leaning toward bland, we can mostly tasted salt. We needed to squeezed all lemon slices that provided to add more flavor into each dishes. The staff were very attentive and friendly but the food took time to be served. We were almost finished the first 2 dishes and the pasta hadn’t arrived. Would still want to revisit again as this is a good hangout place but would love to have a better food too

The Thai-Italian restaurant has a lot tapas style dishes, and you can tell the menu was created with heart Tried mainly seafood and most of the them are of great quality - love the baby squid and clam pasta The interdeco is good especially during daytime with the sunshine in

The steak, shrimp, octopus and pasta were enjoyable. While the meal itself was good, the experience was fairly simple. Wine wasn’t available due to the Buddhist holiday alcohol restriction, so it’s something to keep in mind.

Very nice food. The chef did a great job with her creations. The portions are a bit small considering the price. Not expensive to be fair, but if you eat a lot perhaps need to prepare to order more
