Charcoal chicken worth the queue down the soi
The line down this Nimman soi tells you everything: locals rate this the answer to where to eat in Chiang Mai. The draw is northern-style charcoal-roasted free-range chicken with a fiery dipping sauce, best ordered alongside som tam papaya salad and a jackfruit salad.
Seating is plastic stools and folding tables, no frills at all. Go at an off hour if you can, peak times mean a real wait.

My food rating guide: 2.5/5 ‐-------> Average taste 5/5 ‐--------> Scrumptious! (My comfort food! 🤩) The fried papaya salad was excellent. Crispy, sweet and fragrant. Roasted chicken was tender and nice. The BBQ pork was tender and nice too. The meal was a 4/5

Recommend if you’re near one Nimman. Their signature chicken was a bit on the pricey side but still the food itself made it worth it. Their chicken was nicely seasoned and the skin was indeed crispy. Got it along with their corn salad which had a citrusy salty taste. Complimented well with their signature chicken.

I really wanted to love this place and the atmosphere is super cute but the food was just bland. I didn’t find anything special about the chicken. The salad I got was blah and I mean the sticky rice with sticky rice… I don’t think I would recommend this place… Total bill was 180 bot… I’ve had much more delicious meals for ฿50

Came at 7.40PM and the staffs told us that last call is at 8.00PM and you can stay eating until 8.30PM. Very good food even at the end of the day. For 2 people, we called 1 steam rice, 1 sticky rice, 1 chicken, 1 fried pork with leaves, 1 fried pattaya salad and 1 tom yam mushroom. We are absolutely full after that and could not finish all the rices haha! Highly recommend ordering the tom yam mushroom soup because it will help you refresh your palate after eating fried and grilled dishes! My boyfriend even said that he would come back the 2nd time if we had eaten at this resto on our 1st day!!

The chicken was really good, a portion on the smaller side but well priced, you LL want two orders. Their crispy pork and crispy basil was delightful and highly recommend it. Good staff and very quick service. Definitely worth checking out.
