Ginger & Kafe sits inside The House by Ginger in the Old City, and the decor gets as much attention as the menu. Expect a room packed with color, antiques and homeware pulled straight from the attached shop. The kitchen turns out solid Thai dishes with the odd Western twist, all served in a setting that goes all in on maximalism.

People come for the whole package: browsing the homeware, eating well, then sticking around for cocktails. Among Old City restaurants, this one stands out as much for personality as for what's on the plate.
