One of the city's original specialty roasters

Kronotrop started in Cihangir and was one of the roasters that pushed specialty coffee in Istanbul past the Turkish-coffee and instant defaults. The Firuzağa branch is a small, busy corner where the beans are roasted for the group's other locations and brewed across espresso and filter.

The focus is on single-origin coffees and the roast itself, and the counter draws a steady neighbourhood crowd. It remains a benchmark for the city's coffee scene.
