A Charlotte brewery bets big on South Slope
HopFly Brewing Company is moving into 101 S. Lexington Avenue, the South Slope spot Terra Nova Beer Co. left empty when it closed. Founder Cameron Schulz is aiming for a fall 2026 opening.
It's a bold wager. Out-of-town breweries keep eyeing this district even as local operators have struggled since Hurricane Helene, betting Beer City USA still pulls enough crowds to support a newcomer.
