Brunch in a 130-year-old cottage that survived Helene
The Victorian house Corner Kitchen occupies flooded to the first floor when Hurricane Helene hit. Almost eleven months and a full restoration later, the doors reopened and brunch is back on the porch of one of Biltmore Village's oldest buildings.
Go for the daily brunch, served 9:30 to 2:30, before dinner service takes over at 5. The building predates the restaurant by a century, and right now it's the neighborhood's clearest sign of recovery.

Corner Kitchen was a fantastic spot for brunch and made our group dining experience incredibly easy. We had a reservation for eight people, and when we arrived, our table was already set up and waiting for us. Everything was well organized, and the staff was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. One of the coolest parts of the experience was learning that we were seated at the same table where Michelle and Barack Obama once dined. There was a plaque at the table commemorating their visit, which made for a fun and memorable touch. The brunch was excellent. Our group ordered a wide variety of dishes, so we were able to sample a little bit of everything, and every meal looked and tasted great. Best of all, not a single person had a complaint, which is impressive with a group of eight! Between the welcoming service, delicious food, and unique bit of history, Corner Kitchen is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Asheville. I’d happily come back for another brunch.

From the moment we walked in 30 minutes before our reservation, we were seated right away. The service was exceptional from start to finish. We accidentally ordered the same dish, which was completely our mistake, but Patrick still brought it out so we could try it. That level of hospitality really stood out. The food was incredible, especially the featured Eggs Benedict and corned beef hash. We'll definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in town!

Inviting and relaxed, spot on. Our first visit and we will certainly return. The staff were very friendly and our waitress knew the menu inside/out. Chose the pork chop and trout. Both delicious. The panzanella salad was very tasty. Try the bread pudding for dessert, can’t miss. Good eats and a great vibe. Highly recommend.

A 5 Paws Experience! Tucked into a charming enclave near the shops and within view of the historic Biltmore, The Corner Kitchen has become our go to weekend brunch spot dogs welcome. We settled onto the shady patio, and our pup was greeted with a fresh bowl of water and a plate of bacon before we'd even opened the menu. The food didn't disappoint either. The Huevo's Rancheros were spectacular, while my husband's Biltmore Basic was a solid, classic choice. Between the attentive service, casual setting, and easy street parking, this is one we'll keep coming back to.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner here! So glad they're back up and running, one of my favorite restaurants of all time. This meal I got the filet mignon and their fried green tomato special. Incredible! I had my 21st birthday party here many moons ago and they've always had the best, friendliest service.
