Nice people and the food is made from great local ingredients. I like what they’re doing and I’ll keep coming back. I’ve had some hits and misses food-wise, but the hits have been really big hits and I’m willing to chalk up the misses to an off day or busy kitchen. Amazing: The portobello sandwich they had on special back in the spring was the best sandwich I’ve ever had, I kept going back for it while it was available and will probably think about it forever since it was just a special. Bit of a bummer: had an egg and cheese recently that the eggs were cooked wayyyy too hard for my taste with no softness at all, menu says “jammy” which makes me think a softer yolk but it was not even a little bit. This (I’m hoping?) is probably not typical, I’ll try again at some point. I think the prices are fair for the quality of ingredients. Thanks for having vegetarian options!

They did a great job with this place. Just enough weird for me to know it’s in West Asheville, and the chopped cheese was top notch. Loved the side salad it was super fresh and had great dressing. Always love going over to west Asheville the interactions and people watching is top tier. Back for another time and I got to meet the owners. Great people running a great place!

I ordered the Italian and I’m gonna tell you I’ve had an Italian sandwich about everywhere around Asheville and I have not had one of that good OK it is awesome. Perfect amount of everything. I’m at the owner Mike. I said the only thing you’re missing is an amazing roast beef sandwich and he says we’re working on. It can’t wait because if it’s anything like his Italian, he’s gonna knock that sucker out of the park. It’ll be the best roast beef around here cannot wait. Highly recommend this place. Service was a great interactions with the staff. Was just phenomenal. Highly recommended.

Our group of six was all very happy with everything we ordered - chopped cheese, chicken parm, salami sandwich, turkey melt, Caesar salad, potato salad, mushrooms and olives. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. The space is fun and retro and the staff was nice and helpful - the owner even stopped by for a chat. Wish we were local and could come back to try breakfast and dinner.

Wonderful food, great people, and great community. Support this local spot! I live near finest and about two weeks postpartum, we walked over. Mike introduced himself and we told him it was our first time leaving the house and before I said anything else he went back in the kitchen and gifted us a big thing of the best bone broth I’ve ever had. He’s so sweet. The food is amazing and when we went back two weeks later, he gave us more broth! Clearly he’s invested in the community, and this is a local business with a heart 💗. (P.S. their food is also fantastic— every sandwich is a win— I especially love the egg sandwich!)
