Mediterranean plates and a wine garden on Colfax

FiNO sits inside the All Inn Hotel, in the old Rockbar space, with a Mediterranean-leaning menu and zero-waste cocktails built to use the whole bottle. The wine garden is the spot to grab a table if the weather cooperates.

It shares the hotel with All Is Well, a café next door for the daytime crowd. The room is small, so book ahead on weekends, and it's dinner only, 5 to 10pm nightly.

I am obsessed with this spot. The design is so mid-century mod/Palm Springs vibes. Service is welcoming, on point, chill. Food is perfect portion sizes (not monumentally large thank god), tasty, consistent. The cocktails are a stand out. Can’t go wrong, but am loving the tequila & hochija spirit forward tipple & the mascarpone Ramos. For dishes, our faves are definitely the sweet potatoes, the endive salad, & the steak. In the future, would love to see 1 or 2 more protein options besides the steak.

I decided to try out this new spot on a whim and I'm so glad I did! I like that most of the plates are small plates (that way I could order three different things!). Started with the crab toast which was phenomenal, followed by the tartare toast which was maybe my favorite, albeit it was tough to decide. I finished my meal with the tuna crudo which was great and probably tied with the crab toast. Cocktails had unique twists but were definitely on point. It was hard to not order more than two. Very promising spot that I plan to make repeat visits to!

The ambience is incredibly charming and the quality and flavor of the food is on point! We ordered the grilled cabbage, the vodka o’s, and the steak, all of which I’d recommend. That said, 3 nits: the portion sizes are small for the price, there was a 35 min delay between the cabbage and the pasta with no check ins, and the steak was served medium when we ordered medium rare.

Good vibes in this new spot in a refurb’s hotel lobby. Place has a loungey comfortable aesthetic in the main dining room with lots of booths, and a cool front bar room with more seating. Loved the Vodka O’s, endive salad, tomato bread (w bread from GetRights) and the pistachio shortbread dessert. Lots else to try and intrigued by the late menu options (from 9-11p) and plans for more live music on the patio. Will be back
