A chef-driven wine bar, not a wine list afterthought
The format is a chef-driven wine bar rather than a restaurant with a wine list. In late 2025 it also hosted a residency by an ex-French Laundry chef, who later took a permanent Chinatown space.
Dan Krohmer opened it in June 2025 in Suite 29 on South Durango Drive, next door to his own Other Mama. It replaced his breakfast cafe Chamana's, which he closed after concluding he is a dinner guy.
