Walk-up sushi in front, a dark cocktail room hidden behind

The layout is the point: a walk-up sushi counter facing the food hall, and behind it a lounge that feels nothing like a mall. Nomikai means roughly 'drinking party' in Japanese; the back room leans on Japanese whisky and shochu.

Nomikai opened in June 2025 inside Via Via, the food hall the Venetian built off its Grand Colonnade. It is the rare Strip sushi bar where standing and eating costs under thirty dollars.
